When I was 6 years old I started diving in Germany and continued it for 18 years professionally. The specificity of the sport also intriduced me to the world of film. I started acting at the age of 15 with the movie "Stopped on Track" by Andreas Dresen. This won the German Film Award for Best Feature Filmin 2012 and sparked my interest infront of the camera. Since then I have been in two feature films directed by Axel Ranisch and several short films at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (DFFB) and student films in Ohio.
Starting Fall 2016 I studied Theater with a specialization in acting/directing and a minor in film studies, in Bowling Green, Ohio.
I finished my Bachelor of Arts in Communication (B.A.C) as well as my Master of Arts in Theater.
Starting Fall 2021 I decided to pursue a Master of Fine Arts in Film to explore my passion for opportunities behind the camera at Ohio University. The program is describes as follows:
"A professional three-year program of study for talented individuals seeking advanced training in directing, screenwriting, producing, cinematography, editing and motion picture sound with a solid background in film history, theory, and criticism."
During my first two years at Ohio University’s School of Film, I directed three short narrative films, was the director of photography on two university projects, fand assistant directed and was the camera assistents for several other shorts.
